VOICE Two-Day Organizing Training

In preparation for our fall house meeting campaign, in which we'll be asking families to share their stories about how the economy is impacting them, we're holding a two-day organizing training that will feature workshops on organizing and panels of local experts talking about the trends in Oklahoma regarding income, savings and debt, and retirement.

Who is this training for?

Core team members of VOICE member institutions and representatives from institutions considering membership.

Where is it?

Wesley United Methodist Church, located 1401 NW 25th St, Oklahoma City.

When?

September 29th and 30th. On September 29th, we start with a training for clergy members from 2 - 5 p.m. (plus dinner!), then open up the training for everyone from 6 - 9 p.m. on Friday night, and on Saturday from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.

When your registration is completed, you will receive an email with further instructions and some reading assignments. Thank you!

Cost: $25/person but scholarships available. For a scholarship, please write a paragraph introducing yourself and why you'd like to attend. Send it to Kristen King at okciaf@sbcglobal.net
