Restorative Justice Sunday

On Sunday, January 24, VOICE is organizing Restorative Justice Sunday. The purpose of Restorative Justice Sunday is to raise up the issue of restorative justice and criminal justice reform as issues central to the creation of a thriving state with healthy families and communities. Clergy from dozens of congregations across the Oklahoma City metro area and the state will be focusing on this theme, helping their congregations to understand the issues, why as people of faith they should care about them, and what can be done.

In the afternoon, please join us at 3 p.m. at St. John Missionary Baptist Church, 5700 N Kelley, for a presentation called “Public Safety at Risk: Fines and Fees and the Oklahoma Criminal Justice System,” put together by members of the VOICE Restorative Justice Action Team.
